Most beds look best with a fresh top layer about once a year. Florida sun fades mulch and heavy rain breaks it down, so many homeowners refresh in the spring.
Usually we clean up the beds and top-dress over the old mulch, which helps build healthy soil. If the old layer is too deep or you’re switching to rock, we’ll include removal in your estimate.
Mulch costs less upfront and is better for plant health. Rock costs more upfront but lasts for years with little upkeep. We’ll recommend what fits your beds, your plants and your budget.
